Charlie Lindner Trio

Melting genres of music together is a talent Charlie Lindner has marinated over time.  Charlie has made a name for himself in cities across the US, playing jazzblues, and especially electronic dance music to push his musical boundaries. He is always striving to entertain in new and exciting ways, performing both sit-down grand piano concerts and the bar/venue dual set shows that offer a taste of jazz in the first set and live electronic dance in the second set.

Lindner’s live electronic concerts fire up the crowd with four on floor grooves and high energy live bass and drums. Mixing in popular remixes and vocal samples puts the Charlie Lindner as boarderline DJ and a showtime crowd-pleaser.

Lindner’s sit down concerts offer an array of styles, from classics like “As Time Goes By” to original Jazz arrangements of the Who, Weezer, and Nirvana. Lindner has also been known to bring random members of the audience on stage unexpectedly, and encourages participants to be inspired by the music and draw a picture during sit-down performances.  This unique quirk adds an element of fun and surprise to the shows, and has created a collection of awesome fan art!

Lindner’s past projects showcase his range and depth as a musician, with experience in Progressive Rock (Derelict Brew, 1999), Jazz-Fusion (The Move, 2003), Funk and Soul (Macro Meltdown 2008), Live Electronic Dance Music (The Manhattan Project, 2010), and Jazz (Charlie Lindner Trio, 2015). The Manhattan Project, one of Lindner’s most successful endeavors, has resulted in international tours, sharing the stage with top electronic artists such as Bassnectar, The Disco Biscuits, Lotus, Papadosio, Big Gigantic, and many more!

After headlining the Rochester International Jazzfest at Anthology in 2018, Lindner has set out to take his music on the road performing at the New York state fair, Burchfield Penney Auditorium, Rochester Memorial Art Gallery, Bully Hill Winery, and many more venues to come

Vinyl Orange Ottoman
If you like your Rock n Roll soaked in a bucket of Blues, Soul and Grit ~ Then look no further! Vinyl Orange Ottoman is exactly that. Sounds reminiscent of Joe Cocker, Gov't Mule, The Tedeschi Trucks band and The Black Crowes. Marinated in undertones of Bobby Blue Bland, Bill Withers and Muddy Waters. The band is fronted by scene vet, Vox/Drummer, Pete Griffith. He is flanked by Guitarist Brady Hoover and Noah Swartele. The "Gator" Gregg Cole on slide guitar. Willie White Shoes on Sax. And on the bass, the glue that holds down the bottom end of this ship, "Carp" Sam Klotz.

With a true Rock 'n' Roll band, live is where they thrive. "It was incredible, and an incredible eye-opener. The band raged with an unstoppable fortitude that leaned on classic strains without relying solely upon them. It was familiar yet new--and beautiful." -Frank DeBlase, City Newspaper

"VOO is a dynamic band with a big kick of bluesy soul in its tone, mood, and groove." -Frank DeBlase, City Newspaper. In part why you can catch VOO on the same bill with anyone from hippie jam bands, to hard rock/metal bands, to solo acoustic acts. There one of those bands that appeal across genres.

Vinyl Orange Ottoman hit the studio to record a new batch of songs with Engineer John Belec and team. Then sent to L.A. to be mastered by Grammy award winning Engineer Randy Merril(Adele). In true Rock 'n' Roll fashion, V.O.O. chose to up the ante and record the music live, opting to only overdub vocals. The e.p. "When The Sun Falls Down" can be found on every major media outlet.

Vinyl Orange Ottoman craves the creation of much more music and bringing the Rock 'n' Roll vibes to a larger fan base and stage as there journey continues......
