Harry Jay is the living definition of Red Hot: a saucy songwriter with a fiery stage presence, unique fashion sense, 4+ octave vocal range, and a knack for writing burning hot hooks. At only age 15, Harry Jay began writing and composing music for both himself and other artists. Performing for the first time at age 16, Harry Jay has yet to look back, turning himself into a coveted performer with the poise and excitement of a touring veteran. At age 19, upon his first year as a student at the prestigious Berklee College of Music, Harry Jay released the EP “Truth” under the moniker “Harry Jay Smith and the Bling,” a live, eight piece funk project, managed, orchestrated, and lead by Harry Jay. The EP was met with instant success, reaching #1 on Bancamp’s Neo-Soul chart, and #3 on the RnB chart within 5 hours of its release. Following the success of “Truth,” Harry Jay embarked on two east coast headlining tours, selling out shows in Washington DC, Boston, and Maine, and garnering critical acclaim at each stop, being dubbed “A musical lovechild of Steely Dan and Jamiroquai" by Earbits Radio's Dave Sorrendino, as well as “Effortlessly Cool,” by Atwood Magazine’s Kaitlyn Zorilla. Harry Jay’s music has been described as explosive, exciting, and memorable by those who have seen him live, and in the words of WEMF DJ Ryan Carroll: “He’s damn good!”
